After preparing your dishes, you can cool or freeze them in the blast chiller quickly and efficiently. This prevents any coarse crystallisation and there is minimal loss of flavour, moisture and weight. An extra advantage: there is less food waste, thanks to the longer storage life of prepared meals. This blast chiller can accommodate 10 x 1/1 GN trays or 40 x 60cm Bakerynorm trays easily. It's ideal for freezing meat, fruit, cocktails and finished desserts.
Cools quickly
This powerful blast chiller cools to 3ºC within 90 minutes and down to -18ºC in around four hours. It is equipped with an intelligent digital temperature controller and a core thermometer. You can use this blast chiller up to a maximum ambient temperature of 32ºC. The cooling system consists of a water evaporator and the refrigerant used is R290, free from CFC. To make transporting it easier, the blast chiller comes on wheels and is luxuriously finished with a recessed handle. The door is self-closing and fitted with an antibacterial rubber seal. Inside you will find rounded corners to prevent dirt from accumulating and so that it is easy to clean.
Easy cleaning
Cleaning this professional blast chiller is a simple task. But, before you can clean it, it must first be defrosted and the temperature must be the same as the ambient temperature. The appliance includes an automatic defrosting process. For thorough cleaning, you only need a damp cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use a lot of water so that you can keep the coating in good condition and prevent rust from forming on the inside. When cleaning fridges and freezers, it's important to wipe them dry with a soft cloth before using them again.
